Jenny designs and facilitates programs in leadership, management and team development to support change initiatives and individuals. Jenny has worked extensively across APS agencies, with the ACT Government, with not for profit organizations and with private sector companies.

Prior to establishing her consulting business Jenny held senior HR manager positions in several APS Agencies where she designed and facilitated change management strategies and learning and development programs.

Jenny spent her early career as a manager and educational leader in a tertiary education institution. She managed curriculum development, course delivery, assessment processes, staffing and resources for a Communication faculty.

  • Designed and facilitated a major organisational change program for a large division in a government agency. Including training in leading change, individual senior manager development assessments and executive coaching.
  • Designed and facilitated a leadership development program for a tertiary institution, including formal assessment and certification.
  • Engaged by a central APS Agency to develop resource materials for APS Values training, for facilitators.
  • Facilitated strategic planning processes with health and hospital service providers in the private sector.

Elspeth holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Toronto, Canada and a Master of Education from Tufts University, Boston, USA. Elspeth Humphries is a facilitator with broad experience in training design for government agencies, community organisations and the tertiary education sector in Australia and overseas. She works with groups and individuals on strategic management, performance and goal achievement, leadership and change, program review and feasibility studies. Mark designs, develops and delivers learning programs at the strategic and operational levels of organisations. He has broad experience in the creation of personalised developmental plans, as well as team and organisational learning programs.

Mark has been involved in learning, change and development roles, as an internal consultant for a global resource company and then for an Australian scientific research organisation. Mark has also worked for 10 years as an independent consultant, designing innovative approaches to leadership development and culture change for private and public sector clients in Australia and Malaysia.

Mark currently conducts leadership programs, business design workshops and capability building initiatives for clients around Australia. These projects call for the innovative design of face-to-face interactions. Mark's work always focuses on helping learners deliver business results within the particular culture of their workplace.

Steve Colman

Steve has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and is a member of the Australian Institute for Training & Development and the American Society for Training & Development, and an accredited trainer for the Team Management Systems (TMS) and DISC profile systems.

His work has primarily focused on organizational change and the skills, attitudes, values and knowledge that people need to create high-performance workplaces. Steve’s expertise has been honed working with some of Australia’s largest and most successful organizations in both the public and private sectors including AGL, Ampol, AMP, ACT Government, Attorney General’s Department, AusAid, AXA, Cochlear, CSIRO, Dept of Finance & Administration, Macquarie Bank, Pacific Access, Shell Coal, McDonalds and Westpac.

Range of Experience
Francesca has 15 years experience in the APS in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. As part of the senior management team in the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) she headed the Public Affairs Section.

Francesca served as a diplomat in Indonesia, the former Soviet Union and Germany. She spent a year as private secretary to the Minister of Foreign
Affairs and Trade. As a senior officer in the Australian Agency for
International Development, she represented Australia at the OECD DAC Taskforce on Peace, Conflict and Development Cooperation which drafted a set of guidelines for aid agencies and fostered greater cooperation between foreign and aid ministries.

Between 2002-2004 Francesca held the position of Executive Director of Adult Learning Australia (ALA), the peak body representing adult learning providers in Australia. ALA manages a major annual promotional activity, Adult Learners’ Week.

Recent Projects

  • Co-author of the reports: “Enhancing career-development: The role of community based career guidance for disengaged adults.;” and “Adult literacy at a glance”, commissioned by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER)
  • During the introduction of the GST she worked on information campaigns for the Australian Taxation Office.
  • Design and facilitation of tailored communication training programs for a central APS agency.
